Assisted stretching - 60 min
Service Description
Assisted stretching is an active and passive stretching technique used to increase flexibility and range of motion. Assisted stretching assures your safety in the movements; lowers the risk of injury, helps with stress management, increased flexibility, movement in the body and improve athletic performance. Each muscle group focused on, will be warmed up with medium -firm massage prior to stretch. A wide variety of stretching techniques will be performed depending on each individual needs. This may include; • Muscle Energy Technique (MET): using a muscle's own energy and voluntary contraction in a precisely controlled direction at varying levels of intensity to relax and lengthen the muscle. • Uses of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretching, is the more advanced form of flexibility training, which involves both the stretching and contracting of the muscle group being treated, it is one of the most effective forms of stretching for improving flexibility, increasing range of motion and functional performance.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. We respectfully request a cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. This helps us be respectful of other clients' needs and enables us to give the appointment time to another person who needs to see us. Late cancellation & no show fee apply of $50 for a 40-60 minute session, & $100 for 90-120 minutes session. If you already paid, it will be taken as a penalty, and the rest will be refunded.
